A local excellent pub

This is the first time we’ve visited the borough arms, from the time we arrived the service was excellent, the first person who greeted us was Holly , who greeted us with a smile and showed us to our table, the drink order was taken and menus brought, the actual food was really good and presented lovely, living in Bodmin for 10 years can’t understand why we haven’t been before, will definitely be back soon, well done to all the staff.

Great food, great pub.

We enjoyed the Sunday carvery, it was delicious and plenty of it. The staff were friendly, attentive and polite and happy to help. It’s a busy popular pub, but there’s plenty of room to sit without feeling on top of each other. We enjoyed the meal so much we went back again midweek and had another fantastic meal.

Great Pub on the Camel Trail with Free Parking!

Received a lovely welcome when we visited recently one lunchtime with our husky. We were shown to a table, drinks and food ordered. Food came promptly, was hot, plentiful and delicious! There are dog bowls, water and treats for your four legged companions too. The staff are friendly and attentive but not too intrusive. A great find after a walk along the Camel Trail with free parking too! What’s not to like! Will return when next in the area.
